Chris Vinson, Co-Owner of Journey Mortgage of Sioux Falls, South Dakota has achieved a huge amount of success in his few short years in the mortgage business. With 5 years under his belt, his average closing volume is just under $70M per year in a town with a population of 124,000. In his short career, he has achieved long-lasting relationships with Realtors® and builders—further cementing them with his “Ultimate Open House” concept.

With offices in Sioux Falls, Watertown, Rapid City and Spearfish (South Dakota), he has duplicated the success of the “open house concept” on a smaller scale as well. Prior to getting in the mortgage business, Chris was an insurance agent for 5 years. His "Ultimate Open House" Extravaganza earned him the 1st place award at the Share & Tell Session at the Turn On Your Million Dollar Brain event in 2005. He was also awarded the 2004 Affiliate of the Year by the Realtor® Association of the Sioux Empire.

In addition to running his mortgage company, he competes in Team Roping Rodeo Events throughout the United States.
